Amoudara Beach - Satellite Images of Crete
The beach of Amoudara is a long sandy beach, several kilometers long. Amoudara starts 5 km west of Heraklion and it extends all the way to Linoperamata, where the electric power plant is. There are several hotels in Amoudara and the image above shows the Candia Maris Hotel, one of the biggest and most luxurious in the area.
