the river of Samaria

Walking around in Samaria together with such many tourists isn't too relaxing, but the river looks very beautiful with its clear blue water.

Linda the mass tourist ;) I much rather listen to nature in the woods than a huge crowd of noisy and picky Germans and Italians!

I am with Uffe, prefer not to have the tourists. Really do want to do the gorge sometime!

If you want to experience a quiet hike in Samaria Gorge, then enter the gorge at noon and spend the night in Agia Roumeli, which is also wondeful in the evening and early in the morning.

Are you permitted to swim/take a quick dip in that aqua lagoon?? simply breath taking.......
