Plateau Omalos of Viannos - Satellite images of Crete
Omalos of Viannos is another plateau on the Lassithi (Dikti) mountains. It is less known compared to other plateaus in Crete and there is a dirt road from Ano Simi and Pefkos. In Spring, the water from the melting snow creates a small, shallow lake in the plateau.
