Crete is special to me because This place is like a home to me. It' s the only place where I feel so good and so free.

Favourite restaurants in Crete: One of the best place I' ve ever been is "'O milos tis Afroditis"' in Agia Marina. Next to it is a very nice taverna called Kiss Bar- they have great drinks.

Favourite accommodation in Crete: Sorroco in Hersonissos. Basic but the owner and his family made me feel at home

Favourite beach in Crete: Agios Mamas in Agia Marina. Clean, quite and near a nice beach. Oh! and with a great view! Elafonissi and Balos are just great.

You have to see in Crete: Everything. There are so many wonderfull places to see, but You just can' t miss Elafonissi, Matala, Knossos and my personal favourite Samaria Gorge.

Night Life in Crete: If you want to spend a great evening you can do it everywhere.

Off the beaten path in Crete: -

When in Crete be careful about Sun, mosquitos and Sun.

Transportation: Busses are great, they will take you wherever and whenever you want.

Cultural Tips: Never argue about local customs!
