Crete is special to me because we have a great time on every visit.

Favourite restaurants in Crete: We have no favorite, you get good food anywhere you go.

Favourite accommodation in Crete: Illiostasi apartments in Hersonissos facing the Lychnostatis Museum and Litsa & Efi apartments in Stalis.

Favourite beach in Crete: We like them all take a trip to "Starbeach", loads of fun on the water slides and water sports.

You have to see in Crete: Samaria Gorge, Knossos, Spinalonga, boat trip to Santorini.

Night Life in Crete: the beach road in Stalis is unbeatable for bars and restaurants.

Off the beaten path in Crete: Have a trip up to Koutouloufari. You can also get the tourist train up to the village. Good views over Hersonissos

When in Crete be careful about Be careful about cats. Don' t let them sit on your knee, most of them have ring worm and you can catch it off them. Avoid being "raki'd", especially at lunch time

Transportation: I like to travel by bus its cheap and reliable.
