Night Life in Crete: Nightlife in Crete can be anything you want, from madness to a quiet drink!.

Off the beaten path in Crete: take the bus and get off where you feel like it, this is the best way to discover different villages and towns that tour reps wont visit.

When in Crete be careful about mosquitos, lemon or ambre solaire after sun seem to do the trick for me as well as the mozzy plugs for the rooms.

Transportation: The bus service is excellent, every now and then they are really packed but well worth the money!

Cultural Tips: Try and pick up some phrases - good morning, evening, night = kalimera, kalispera, kalinihta.
