Reviews of Istron Bay Hotel in Agios Nikolaos, Crete
Hotel Istron Bay Review - Rating 10/10
I was sitting at the balcony of my room a few minutes past the sunset. The lights of the garden were lit although it was not dark yet. The sea was a little blue, a little green but mostly blue-grey. I could listen to the birds singing and a word came to my mind: serenity. This is how I would like to spend every evening, with my eyes wandering in the empty, calm sea and the sounds of nature relaxing my mind and allowing my thoughts to travel.
I was at Istron Bay Hotel which is located 15 km south of Agios Nikolaos, a few hundred meters past Istron village on the way to Ierapetra and Sitia. The hotel is situated under the road and occupies a small protected bay with turquoise water. There is a swimming pool and a beautiful sandy beach with a small dock for extra protection during the windy days.
The rooms are spacious, clean and pleasantly decorated, although a bit old-fashioned. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a TV and a mini bar.
The personnel of the hotel are polite and willing to help in every possible way. The cuisine of the hotel is average and you will love having breakfast or dinner while enjoying the magnificent view.
