Reasonably priced hotel in the Venetian Harbor in Chania

Nostos Hotel is located at the Venetian port of Chania. It is an old 3-floors building and it is decorated in the typical cretan style with many antiques. The rooms are not big but they are clean and equipped with air-conditioning, a TV set and a small refrigerator. There is no elevator, so you will have to climb the old wooden stairs.
A small number of the rooms have an unobscured view to the Venetian port of Chania. It is pure pleasure to sit on the small balconies and enjoy the scenic views, especially late in the afternoon.
The street noise and the music from the several bars and cafes close to the hotel may prove annoying for those who prefer to go to bed early in the evening or they prefer to sleep with the windows open. However, with the windows closed and the air-conditioning on during the hot summer nights, I don't think street noise will be a problem.
Hotel Nostos is not cheap but it is reasonably priced considering its location and the rare harbour views.
