My husband and I were in Koutouloufari for 2 weeks and the Pegasus taverna / restaurant quickly became our favorite. The owners always greeted us with warmth and hospitality and our orders were always perfect. The food was amazing, and the prices were more than reasonable. We had not one complaint about our visits with them. This is a restaurant to return to, over and over!! I hope they enjoy many more years of success!

My fiance and i went to Crete on the 1st May 2005 for a fortnight, we were lucky enough to come across the Pegasus Restaurant very early in to our holiday. The food was by the far the best than any of the other tavernas that we tried and ended up going back there nearly every night.

Very friendly staff, fantastic food and great value for money. Anybody travelling to Koutouloufari should go and see for yourself just how fantastic this place is. 10 out of 10 well worth a visit.

I had seen this taverna on the net before we went to Crete. A three minute stroll from the apartments.
This taverna has an extensive menu and fine staff. The food is reasonably priced and excellent. We were impressed by the owners attempts to make it feel a relaxed dining experience.
We had traditional dishes, Moussaka, and lamb in Garlic, melt in the mouth, plus as a special free carafe of House wine, a very palatable white, rounded off a fine meal. Another occasion we ate steaks, cooked exactly to order.
Pay this place a visit. This taverna will not break the bank
