Preveli is a place in south Crete that consists of a beach, a river and a palm tree forest. The palm trees are along the river that ends to the beach of Preveli where you can find a small tavern. The river up to a point is wide enough so that you can do canoe and pedalo. Further up the river you can find waterfalls where you can even do hydromasage.
In the past it used to be a place for camping and naturism but not anymore. You can either go by car up to a point and then walk the path down the cliff from where you can see the valley of Preveli from a panoramic view, or you can visit Preveli by boat from Plakias.
